In the mood to watch a classic teen rom-com? Make sure to check out the new Mean Girls movie. It is a fun, must watch for teens and adults!

Mean Girls (2024) is a musical re-enactment of the original 2004 classic directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr.. The popularity this musical has received proves that the iconic original never gets old!  Christopher Briney— who played Conrad from the popular show The Summer I Turned Pretty—  played Aaron Samuels! 

Overall, the acting in this film was mediocre, but the script was light hearted and entertaining. It was easy to tell who the seasoned actors were and who was new to the industry. The fun musical numbers throughout the film were enjoyable to watch, but sometimes came in the way of the action and plot development. There was lots of diversity throughout the characters of the movie, which added a special element to this reenactment.
